FOTD: Natural Glam Makeup

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
I know what you are thinking: the words "natural" and "glam" are oxymorons. They don't go together. Well, I aim to prove you wrong today. I have a lot of new products and I wanted to try them out today. I love how the look came together and I wanted to share it with you.
The goal here is to keep everything simple: neutral eyes, a nude lip, and fresh, glowing skin. You want the skin to look flawless, but you also want your skin to show and not have heavy looking foundation.

As per usual, I started with my eyes. I primed using the Ruby Kisses Eyeshadow Primer and set it using L'Oreal's Colour Riche Eyeshadow in Paris Beach. I used another Colour Riche shade (Cafe Au Lait) and blended it into the crease. On the lid, I used the new Makeup For Ever Aqua XL Color Paint in M-56. The formula of this product is beautiful! It is much easier to work with than I anticipated. I used some of my points at Sephora for this, but I am tempted to buy one in a different shade.
For my eyeliner, I used Stila's Stay All Day Liquid Liner in Intense Black. The only mascara I have been using the last few weeks is Wet n Wild's MegaSlim Skinny Mascara. It is the best. I actually wore false lashes today, and I used the new Eylure Accents in the style 003. These are so easy to apply and emphasize any look without being dramatic and overly fake. Plus they are only $4.99.
To help fill in and shape my brows, I used Wet n Wild's Ultimate Brow Mascara, which is another favorite of mine.

Now onto the face. I started with some color correcting by using Maybelline's Master Camo Color Correcting Pen in Green. I used this to help with redness around the nose and on my chin. I mixed the Kokie Cosmetics Skin Perfect HD Foundation with the Urban Decay Velvetizer Mix In Medium. I don't want to jump the gun, but I am very impressed by this combination. To conceal my dark circles and a pesky pimple on my chin, I used my beloved Tarte Shape Tape Concealer. To set everything, I again used Urban Decay's Velvetizer. To highlight my cheekbones, I used Tarte's Pro Glow Liquid Highlighter in Stunner.
I finally have some Charlotte Tilbury products to try out, lipstick and lip liner to be specific. I used her lip liner in Pillow Talk and the lipstick is the shade Kim K.W.

I liked this look so much that I will probably wear it for the next week. I haven't been able to do a look this involved in a few weeks, so it was nice to get back into it.
I hope you have had a great day and I will see you soon!
