🏠 Fixing Water Leaks After Typhoon Ulysses: Condo Handyman to the Rescue

By Jonathan Orbuda @ilovetansyong
Surviving Typhoon Ulysses alone in my condo was one of the most challenging moments of my Urban Solo Life. The relentless rain and fierce winds exposed vulnerabilities in my windows, leading to water leaks that added to the chaos of a blackout and stormy night. I shared the full experience in a previous vlog (watch here: • Surviving Typhoon Ulysses Alone in My...). After that ordeal, I knew I had to take action, and thankfully, the Property Condo Management sent a skilled handyman to address the issue.

In this update, I’m sharing how the condo handyman expertly tackled the leaks by applying silicon sealant around my windows. Watching the process was both reassuring and enlightening—it was fascinating to see the steps involved in identifying the problem areas, prepping the windows, and meticulously sealing every potential entry point for water. Their experience and precision reminded me that while DIY projects are rewarding, sometimes it’s best to leave repairs to the professionals.
