Five Tips to Help You Stick to a Beauty Routine

By Vivianism @vivianism

Question! How do you even keep to a skincare routine? I'm so lazy every morning and night.

I hear that all the time. Since I was 18 or 19, I started skincare properly and diligently.
For many years till now, skincare has been a routine for me. I almost never go a day without skincare. Here are FIVE tips to help you stick to the routine!

1. Place your products at a strategic place
This place should be the first place you visit first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Note, It must be visible to the eyes too. If you don't see it, you don't use it. For some, it might be the toilet, for others, it might be the bedroom.

2. Keep products to the minimum
Don't buy everything you see at the counter. If you don't use them, it's as good as wasting money. If you don't already have a routine, the 3 steps skincare (cleanse, tone, moisturize) will do just fine. Fine, if you think the 3-in-1 skincare suits your lazy need. Go ahead. The key thing is stick to a routine first. You can always add products later on.

3. Beautify and organize the beauty area
The eyes naturally attract to the beautiful things. If the area is messy and unorganized, there is a higher chance of you just skipping it and not willing to touch them. So make that area beautiful and get some pretty trays to organize them! Oh yes, not forgetting clean your products once in awhile. They are dust magnets!

4. Have skincare designated for lazy days
I know, we all have our lazy days. Opt for wipes instead of a cleansing oil when it comes to removing of makeup. Lightly mist the skin for hydration instead of spending time massaging the creams in. Not the best routine, but better than nothing isn't it?

5. Give thanks to your products
Don't just rush through the skin care process. Say thank you and feel it. The products will be more than happy to serve you and give you better results. If you see results, you are more likely to want to stick to your routine.

Once you get into a routine, you will never get out of it. Trust me.
Good luck beautifuls!
