Fitness Friday: Breast Cancer Awareness Fitness Apparel

By Fitnspicy @fitnspicy

October is breast cancer awareness month and there are a lot of pink product options that support the cause, but I found some fitness related items that are supporting the cause as well. Adidas contacted me about their new All Fight line is available online and at adidas sport performance stores.  adidas is giving 10 percent of the registered retail price on women’s running products and graphic tees back to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.

They sent me the Hooded Long Sleeve Tee and the Pink Ribbon Long Tights. I love love love these. I’ve practically been living in the hooded tee, wearing it to and from workouts or just around the house when I change out of my work clothes and on Sunday’s when I go the hair up, hat on, workout pants and top look.

Yogitoes is also doing a buy one get one free skidless yoga towel where 5% of the profits are donated Breastcancer.org. I bought these yesterday to replace my 2+ year old towels that have worn out. I would say 2 years was a pretty good life considering the at least 2x a week that they get used and washed. You get a GREAT deal (these towels are spendy) are helping the cause.

A few other finds:
New Balance has a Lace Up For the Cure Store

Reebok’s Pink Ribbon Hoodie

Mio’s Heart Rate Monitor Watch

So many options to help give back, if you are going to buy some new fitness products you might as well find ones that help fight breast cancer. Of course you can always donate on your own, I do that but in addition I like supporting companies that support women.
