Recently I have been turning to apps to help motivate me and keep me on track with health and fitness. I thought I would share a few of my favourites with you and hopefully you will share your favourites with me, so make sure you comment!
One of my favourites is the Blogilates app, I think this is ace it has the workout calenders, videos all split into sections, recipes and a community where you can share pictures and inspiration. I love that all the videos are split up into groups, so if you want to work abs you can find all the corresponding videos easily. It's also amazing as how everyone is there for each other and how supportive the whole Blogilates community is. If you are lacking inspiration then this app is for you.
I have also been using Water Your Body, this is a simple, easy way to keep on track of how much water you are drinking a day. It has made me so much more aware of how much I am drinking and how much I need to be drinking. It gives you little notifications reminding you to drink up.
The Smart Recipes app is another app I have been using recently, this is giving me ideas of healthier recipes and how to make meals I already eat healthier. It has ideas for all meals and snacks, and it just makes me think more about the choices I make.
As for exercise one I have been using Map My Walk, I do a lot of walking already and I was getting bored of walks around my area. This has shown me alternate routes and shows me how far I'm walking as well. I use this with Walkdroid, this is a dead simple app that shows simply how many steps and how many miles you've walked. This probably isn't the most accurate app but it makes me more aware of how far I'm walking. You are supposed to walk 10,000 steps a day, and I walk about 6,000 so this has made me loads more aware of what I'm supposed to be doing.
That is my pick of health apps, what do you like to use?
