Fitness Friday: A Typical Workout Week

By Fitnspicy @fitnspicy

Fitness and working out is just part of who I am, every week I try to get 3-5 workouts in a week regardless of where I am. If I am home and have a less busy week I have no issues getting in 5 but add in life and work/social commitments and 3 can be a struggle. Now add in a week on the road for work, staying in hotels that don’t always have the best gym options. But that would just be making excuses! Even if I just get out for a walk, at least I am staying active.

My Workouts This Week:

Sunday: Off. We ended up staying at Scott’s parents all weekend doing some projects there and dealing with my smashed up car that was hit while parked and no one left a note. How nice of them. We got home mid-morning and spent a few hours cleaning, we curled up on the couch and napped and ended the night with steak on the grill. Pretty fantastic day. Even though  I didn’t officially workout.

Monday: 30 Minutes Cardio, Bootcamp Workout from Week 1. I figured why not go through bootcamp one more time, I loved it the first time and I had a few weeks without doing an official program.

Tuesday: 1 hour Yoga Sculpt class at Corepower. Heated yoga with weights and cardio involved. Serious butt kicking every time and I love each second of it. Have you ever done dive bomber push-ups? This video show’s an example and all I have to say is wow. These are hard and they really work. I was pretty sore the next day.

Wednesday: 30 Minutes Cardiio, Bootcamp Workout B from Week 2. It felt so good to be in the weight room!

Thursday: Off. 3 days of hardcore workouts, I needed this extra 45 minutes of sleep.

Friday: 60 Minute C2 Vinyasa Yoga Class at Corepower. 6am and a great way to start the day with 60 minutes of heated flow yoga. If I have enough time before my parents get here tonight I may head to a 5:30 yoga sculpt class. Maybe. I may also choose to just enjoy a little quiet before a crazy busy weekend.

Saturday/Sunday: Probably off but I may try to sneak in a long walk or a yoga class. It all depends on how much we end up doing!
