Fitness Friday: A Life Update

By Fitnspicy @fitnspicy

Hello There! I think that’s one of the longest breaks I’ve taken from blogging in a while. We were out of town last Friday-Sunday and work/life was crazy busy this week. I prioritized them over the blog and I have no apologies about it! I have done some cooking and have a recipe for Monday and am trying a new roast chicken tonight, can’t wait to share!

Life Lately:

A wedding up on the North Shores (north of Duluth) and it was a bit chilly. Beautiful and I had never been that far north in MN before.

Crazy work travel coming up (4 trips in 3 weeks)

Heading to Turkey and Hungary in November for 2 weeks with Scott, our friends Ben, Bridget and Stacey

Keeping up with the zoo. Jack is getting so big, Henry will be a year next week and Tanner and Clifford still put up with all the other animals.

I have a hairline fracture and infected thumb. I start a 10 day course of antibiotics today. Lucky me. And there is nothing they can do about it. It makes life tasks like buttoning things, carrying anything, even sleeping at night a real challenge.

Friday Favorites:

This plaid blanket scarf from Target. I have it on now and it’s so warm and cozy.

Tan fringe suede booties. These are Steve Madden (a brand I rarely buy) but were only $30 at TJ Maxx. Score!

Restocking my Packer wardrobe. A new jacket, t-shirt and hat. I ventured 30 minutes into Wisconsin just to find new items (that weren’t just a jersey).

Fitness This Week:

Sunday: Off, driving back from Up North

Monday: 30 min cardio online

Tuesday: Yoga Sculpt

Wednesday: Cardio and Weights. I previewed one of the workouts and had a blast. I even got to break out my TKO Soft Grip Jump Rope. I forgot how much it really is. We often jump rope in sculpt but it’s really more just standing there and jumping. Having the rope in your hands is a different experience! (This was a sample)

Thursday: Yoga Sculpt

Friday: Off

Saturday: Cardio and Weights, I finished my Turbulence Training program and starting Nia Shanks Train to be Awesome program. Can’t wait!
