From street culture to the Amazon,
Aigner's latest Spring/Summer 2014 collection takes you on a journey into the heart of Brazil, to the vibrant metropolis of Rio de Janeiro. The luxurious outfits and bags created by the Munich-based leather lifestyle brand are inspired by fiery samba rhythms, the sweeping exuberance of the famous Brazilian carnival and Rio's urban exotic flair.Head of Design, Christian Beck, gave an ultra modern interpretation to the clothing collection that is feminine and elegant but at the same time sporty-chic with geometric cuts on the neck and back line.Elegant light high-waisted
trousers in silk and leather, ''reinterpreted'' dungarees, bandeau tops and short blouses in gummed leather combined with light textiles and leather clearly express this mood. For the bags, the designer mixed the urban joie de vivre with Brazil's exotic nature.Elaborate embossed patterns on the leather reflect the country's flora and fauna: the surface structures are in crocodile, lizard skins and raffia. The collection's colours bring to mind South America'sintense and varied tones: bright, radiant shades of pink, yellow, orange and green mingle with subtle shades of gold, terra and nude.
