First impressions/Swatches: Fenty Beauty by Rihanna – Match Stix, Killawatt Highlighter Duos in All Shades + the Entire Range!

Yoohoo~! This morning I attended the launch of Fenty Beauty by Rihanna at our local Sephora, and since I’m in Singapore which is more easterly, we actually got the products earlier than those in the US (for once!). Amidst the insanity of the huge crowds (some of whom I heard had queued up for 10 hours, overnight in the mall), I managed to swatch up a storm. Since my body is still running high on adrenaline (no joke guys, I can feel it pumping through my veins cos I had to avoid the insane crowds who literally sprinted into stores), I’m totes in a mood to blog and share, so here you go!

First impressions: Medium-high intensity pigments for most. Trophy Wife is especially pigmented though.Finely grained, minimal fallout. Buildable without caking much.

Match Stix Shimmer Skinstick – SGD$37 each (10 shades)

These Match Stix Shimmer Skinstick are super adorable – they’re magnetic along the sides (the cap is a click-on), so they stick to each other togetherly! How cute is that?!

First impressions: These glide on relatively smoothly without pulling much on the skin, but if you want, you can warm it up on the back of your hands before applying them. Pigments are pretty strong (but not super strong), and can be sheered out or blended easily. Multi-usage – can be highlighter, contour, blusher, etc.
