At the beginning of the week, I saw four posts on various sites singing the praises of this stuff. My skin has been breaking out a little more than usual, so I figured I would give this stuff a try. And I am glad I did.
What I love about this stuff is that you can see the results quickly. Within two days, I saw a significant improvement in my skin. I had a lot of small pimples under the skin, and now the majority of them are gone. This toner is also very gentle. A lot of "pore refining" toners dry the skin out, but that is not the case with this product. If anything, my skin feels a little smoother. And it hasn't triggered any eczema flare ups.
The claim on the front of the bottle, "gently cleanses+conditions pores to maintain clear, smooth & balanced skin without over drying" could not be more true. It claims to be fragrance free, but I can detect the smell of the witch hazel. I find it unpleasant, but it does not linger. It is gentle enough to use daily, even twice daily. It does a great job of getting rid of any extra gunk your cleanser leaves behind. Sometimes in the morning, I will wet a cotton bad with this and wipe it across my face instead of using a cleanser. That gets rid of any excess oil and dirt build up from over night.
The only real (and minor) downside is that is really easy to get too much product out. This stuff is really inexpensive. Especially when you consider the size and quality. For less than $5, you get 16 oz of toner.
Based on my experience so far, I think this is worth trying out. Normally skincare products do not impress me, but this one has. You can find it at Wal-Mart and drugstores.
