Feel Better Smoothie

My eating and working out this week has been a bit sporadic. I ended up having sinus surgery on Monday morning to remove a growth. Let’s just say that was not very fun. Not at all. I was couch bound all day Monday and Tuesday with tea and soup.

My appetite finally started coming back mid-afternoon on Tuesday, just in time for the UPS man to drop off delicious treats for me to try. I knew a smoothie would at least fill me up and give me some nutrients.

I threw half a bag of spinach, frozen organic strawberries, a few pieces of frozen banana, a bit of soy milk, pomegranate juice and 3 scoops of Onnit Foods Vanilla Acai Hemp Force. This made one heck of a smoothie. Enough to help me start to feel better! After not eating much this really helped.
