So, basically all three of them are great berry/burgandy shades.
NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Damned, with NARS Lip Lacquer in Hotwired over it. Damned is a lovely, deep shade of berry. The color stays on all day and the lip lacquer adds a nice shine and keeps lips from drying out. Hotwired is a very bright magenta that looks great over the pencil or alone. Orginally, I really wanted Lancome L'Absolu Rouge in Berry Noir (I also reccommend this, it is stunning) but Sephora was sold out in store and online. So the Sephora associate applied the NARS products and I was in love. The lip pencil is full cover and very long lasting. The Lancome shade is a little more sheer. Also, I tried out Guerlain's Rouge Automatique in L'Heure Bleue. This shade is almost indentical to NARS Damned, but is more sheer and is not matte. I applied this to my bottom lip and Damned to the top to compare, and there was no difference in color. I ate lunch and even after that, both were still on; NARS a little more so.
