Farewell Football and a Little Motivation

By Heathernichole
Yesterday I was extremely happy that it was Super Bowl Sunday. Oh no, I wasn’t excited for the game. I love Super Bowl Sunday because it means football season has come to an end! I grew up in a house with a mom and a brother who are huge fans of the game. Mostly my mom. She is obsessed with the Dallas Cowboys but she will watch any game. I don’t live with her anymore but I’m still always relieved when football season is over. I am so glad my fiancé doesn’t like football or any other sport. I’m telling you, he’s perfect.

I did, however, watch the half time show. I’m thinking Katy was influenced by the Hot Dog on a Stick uniform.

I really wish I had a photo in color to share with ya’ll but they are all in storage. This is me and my friend Kelly while we were in high school. I think I was seventeen. Hot Dog on a Stick was my first job. Hot Dog on a Stick is only in eleven states so if you haven’t had the chance to visit a location, I’m sorry. You’re definitely missing out. I haven’t been in at least two years, mostly because it’s not the healthiest food. But I have to admit it is really really good.

Onto bigger and healthier things! In case I haven't said it before, I am so glad I bought my FitBit Flex. I was a little worried at first because it doesn’t have a heart rate monitor. I realized that I shouldn’t be focused on how many calories I burn, I should just make sure I’m active every day. I surpassed all of my goals the last two days and I’m feeling really good. The FitBit Flex does not measure stairs but it's still on the dashboard. In case you were wondering why I'm at 0 floors for both days. Below are screen shots from Saturday and yesterday.

I’m linking up today with Kelsey from Random Randts. The theme is Motivation Monday and I have to say my FitBit is definitely going to be my motivation this week. I want to continue to see all green at the end of every day.

Our wedding is in 8 months and 23 days. I paid the deposit for our venue today. It’s officially happening! I never had a doubt but it hasn’t felt real until recently. Now that things are starting to fall into place, it’s becoming very real. So I my wedding is also a huge motivator for me. Like I’ve said before, I refuse to regret the way I look in my wedding dress.
Happy Monday!
