A review of UK based Face the world's Over Night Skin Booster Serum

Face the World Over Night Booster serum

As a beauty blogger, from time to time I get asked to review products for my blog. I turn down most of these as often they don't fit in with my blog and its usual content. However, a few weeks ago I was asked if I would review Face the World's Overnight Skin Booster Serum. I replied with a yes because I was on the look out for a new serum so I thought it was meant to be!
If I'm honest I had never heard of Face the World until I had received their email so I'll fill you in with a bit of background information. Face the World are a UK based, relatively new brand who specialize in holistic facial massage. They provide training and have a product range that they describe as being both 'quality' and 'affordable.'

Now the quality part of this I would definitely agree with. I've been using the Face the World Over Night Booster Serum for about 10 days now and I do really like it. As the name would suggest you apply the serum at night. It glides onto the skin and gives the skin a velvety texture. This, along with the subtle floral scent gives a luxurious feel. I have spot-prone skin and just recently have been fighting a few breakouts. This doesn't aggravate the skin or spots and instead feels quite calming and soothing on my angry skin. When I wake up in the morning my skin feels soft and refreshed.
I also found out by mistake that it makes a great base for makeup. In a half asleep state I applied this instead of my usual primer and it does make an excellent base for makeup, it feels quite similar to Benefit's Porefessional giving the skin a silky, smooth and even finish.

Ok so it is a quality product, but is it affordable? When I agreed to review this product I wasn't aware of the company or their price range. I checked the price before I wrote this review and the Face the World Skin Booster Serum retails at £40 for 15ml! Now to me this is a heck of a lot of money to spend on one product, but to others I guess £40 is reasonable for a good product. If I was having a facial in a spa I would be very pleased if they used this product range on me; it does what it claims to and it does have a luxurious spa feel and for the time being I've got a little bit of spa luxury at home!
