Hello girls, I never experimented much with skin toners, as my skin is slightly sensitive. I have always used rose-water and camphor mixture or cucumber juice for skin toning. Since I have blemishes on my skin, I always wanted to get hold of a toner containing tea tree and is free of alcohol. Tea tree is known to work well on blemishes and breakouts. Once while visiting a mall here, I came across FabIndia store and while browsing I found this cute bottle.
I picked it up and bought it just because it read “tea tree toner.” Read on to know about my experience with this toner:
Price: INR 150 for 100 ml
Shelf Life: 18 months.
What the product claims?: An alcohol-free skin toner with tea tree oil that controls sebum and clears blemishes.
Ingredients: Water, Okra extract, Neem Leaf extract, Turmeric Extract, Propylene Glycol, Tea Tree oil, Salicylic acid.
Directions For Use: After washing your face and neck, spray the skin toner in a cotton swab and gently stroke in upward direction. Avoid contact with eyes.
My Take On The Product: The product comes in a cylindrical see-through plastic tube with a transparent cap. It has a spray nozzle too.
The packaging is travel friendly and I love how the nozzle works perfectly. The toner looks light green in color in the bottle but comes out as clear liquid when sprayed in cotton ball.
It has typical fragrance of tea tree oil. I have used this toner for few months now and it has really impressed me. This toner works great and comes with multiple benefits.
It balances my skin’s oiliness, reduced blemishes, and made my skin soft and supple. I did not find my skin drying or any kind of breakout after using this toner. As the toner consists of salicylic acid as one of its main ingredient, it is equally effective on acne and breakouts too.
I’m really happy with the benefits it provides at this price range! I will highly recommend this toner to everyone.
Pros: 1. Nice packaging
2. Controls oiliness
3. Reduce skin blemishes
4. Inexpensive
Cons: None
My Rating: 5/5
Will I Repurchase It Again? : Yes, as soon as I finish my third bottle :).
