Battleship Island star Song Joong Ki covers Marie Claire's special edition spotlighting the Busan Film Festival where he talks about the box office reception of the historical film. The 32 year old actor who looks boyish as ever models a variety of fall fashions some of which look more wearable than others. Turtlenecks and tweed suits yes, funky fuzzy pants no. I was a little disappointed to hear that Joong Ki turned down a lead role in the Netflix original Joseon era zombie K-drama Kingdom but the man is currently preparing for a much more important role with his impending marriage to Song Hye Kyo at the end of this month.
As an avid SongSong shipper since the beginning of Descendants of the Sun, this is an event I am anticipating as well. The pair have been spotted overseas in Los Angeles and more recently in Paris looking as sweet as ever. They're both known to be very low key and private but I hope we'll get a glimpse inside the nuptials and even a wedding pictorial.
