Event: The Face Shop Natural Sun Eco Bloggers’ Event

By Beautifulbuns

I’m back from Korea! I was totally supposed to be cool and a perfect weather for me to parade all my trenchcoats. I was so looking forward to strutting stylishly down the streets of Myeongdong as though there was an imaginary fan blowing in front of me #likeaboss.

But instead, it was exasperatingly warm, as though there was a not-so-imaginary heatpack stuck onto the interior of my clothes – no it wasn’t as warm as in Singapore though.

In fact, I didn’t even bring any sunblock (fml) cos I thought I was gonna be all covered up. Thankfully, the staff at the Face Shop were generous enough to spare me some sunblock samples (and I was also shameless enough to ask. Heh).

Which then brings me to the fact that I have yet to blog about this event that I attended before flying off :D

A sunny cheery setup displaying all their Natural Sun Eco products

Now this range is all about-duh- The Face Shop’s Eco products, which are perfect for your playtime under the sun.

A large assortment of suncare products to suit all sorts of skintypes.

The Face Shop’s Trainer first preparing the model’s face with The Smim Fermentation Concentrate Treatment (yes, it’s totally the trend these days, so of course I’m on the bandwagon and I’ll be doing a review soon)

Using the Natural Sun Smart Cushion to give her great coverage and a dewy finish (read my review that I did nong nong ago here)

Food provided by Backstage Cafe – deceptively yummy. Most events have canepes and finger food that barely fills a portion of the ginormous cavern I call my stomach, but these were pretty awesome.

Suncare Bingo that turned out to be a hoot – I was seated with Alethea and a couple of other girls who were kinda auntyish and wanted to win (for the cheap thrill), so there was plenty of “ooh” and “aahs” coming from our table.

After that, I decided to work hard for my invite – ta-dah! Here’s a plethora of photos of the back of my left hand (and product swatches).

The Face Shop Natural Sun Eco Aqua sun gel SPF40 PA+++ (50ml)

A water-based formula suncare gel that provides extra hydration and soothes and calms irritated skin – it’s very quickly absorbed without any sticky after-feel. Extremely lightweight.

The Face Shop Natural Sun Eco Oil cut sun cream SPF40 PA++ (50ml)

Contains sebum absorbing powder that controls sebum and covers pores to create soft looking skin – I’d recommend this for those with slightly oilier skin types like mine. It makes for a great base as well. Suitable for sensitive skin.

The Face Shop Natural Sun Eco Power Long-lasting Sun cream SPF45 PA+++ (50ml)

Comes in a natural beige color to help improve your skintone, and acts as a makeup base. It’s slightly thicker in consistency than the previous 2,and is a heavyduty performer.

Natural Sun Eco Baby mild sun lotion SPF30 PA++ (50ml)

It’s for b abieeees and chewlen. The non-Chemical mild sunscreen works on a 7-free system:  Paraben-free, Mineral oil-free, Alcohol-free, Artificial colors-free, Benzophenone-free, Animal ingredient-free and Triethanolamine-free

Now this is what I’ve been eyeing since my Kbeauty cruiseNatural Sun Eco Smart Handiness SPF50+ PA+++(30ml)

Sure, I know that it’s a suncare product, but did you notice the tint? It’s kinda like a BB cream, or an extremely tinted sunblock product, which totally appeals to a BB fanatic like me. It’s rich in vitamins and minerals with powerful anti-oxidant effects, and also comes with a specially designed slanted angled sponge for easy and hands-free  application. Review to come soon :D

And it’s the family of Natural Sun Eco products! Available now at all The Face Shop outlets
