I’ve never been one to mince my words much, so I’ll just be honest and say that when I first heard of Dermal Therapy, I was like “simi lai eh?!” local slang for wth is this?!). For a skincare brand, this was a superbly blah name. It just didn’t sound exciting (although I probably wouldn’t be impressed by a brand that named itself “The Best Product EVAAAAA” either).
Hence, it was with some trepidation (and zero expectations) that I attended the launch event. Boy, was I surprised.
The products, true to my visualisation, were simple and no-frills – encased in simple white and blue packagings without fancy graphics. But when I tried them on, HOLYMOTHEROFAWESOME.
And this, laydees and gennelmen, is THE SHITZ. Once again, I use the word SHITZ with love, kinda like how the rappers do it. This is the Dermal Therapy Hydrating Wash, which has a rather thick consistency and dispenses via a pump. It even contains urea – I’m not gonna go all nutty bio professor on you guys – check out this link to find out what urea is. What I will let you know is that THIS IS SO AWESOME OMG OMG OMG.
It left my hand feeling ridiculously, incredibly and unbelievably smooth, and that’s saying something, since I generally have very smooth hands. You HAVE to buy this product. What’s more, it’s even suitable for those with eczema. I will be doing a proper review once I get back from Korea in 2 weeks’ time, so check back again
After this, we entered a time warp, time sped forward and it became Christmas since we were gifted with the entire range of the Dermal Therapy products to try.
I’ve already ripped open the packaging of the Hydrating wash to try, dabbed Heel Magic my heels, slathered some Lip Balm on my lips and moisturised my (and a male colleague’s) hands with the Hand Balm. Once I have more conclusive results, I’m gonna do my reviews. Stay tuned people peepers!
