French Affair is a creamy pink with hints of lilac and I am absolutely in love with the shade as it is unlike any other pink that I own. It is still great for keeping on trend with pastels this season as the pink is just so milky while still being bright enough for the coming summer months. As with most pastel polishes, I think this color would look fab with tanned skin and is one of those colours I know I'll be wearing a lot in the next few months. Once again, I've found the Essie formula to be a doddle for application as it is smooth enough without being too runny and drying time was very quick. All in all another winner from Essie and one of those shades that I've found myself oohing and aahing at every now and again, although that may just be a way to keep me sane during all of this studying!
I can't believe it has been so long since I posted a nail polish swatch, especially as they made up the majority of my blog content for quite a while. As a lover of all things nail polish and pink, this Essie polish in French Affair was just screaming at me when looking through a blog sale (my memory is terrible and I can't remember whose it was) so of course I had to have it. This is the mini bottle and to be honest I'm more than happy having it this size as you still get a fair amount of product (5ml) and it means I'll be more likely to actually finish a full bottle of nail polish, although a few of my Barry M polishes are getting close.
