Essie Bikini So Teeny

Bikini So Teeny was a polish I'd been eyeing up for SO long but couldn't justify the price tag, until I spotted it on Fragrance Direct for the bargainous price of £1.99 (!!) (posted about here). Out of the four polishes that I ordered, Bikini So Teeny was the one that I had to put on my nails straight away and I'm so glad that I did. It is a gorgeous cornflower blue shade that has brightened my hands right up during this wintery weather, although I wish I hadn't been in such a rush when I applied it as it has been chipping a lot quicker (totally my bad). The polish also appears to have a slight shimmer running through it in the bottle but once applied you can hardly see it which is a shame as I'm sure it would have looked lovely with a bit of shimmer. The bottle came with the bigger brush found in the Boots/Superdrug diffusion line which I was really happy about as it makes application a lot quicker and easier, and the nice formula meant that I had opaque nails in 2 coats. The only annoying thing is that I never realised just how similar it was to Models Own Beth's Blue which I already own, but I'm so glad that I went for this shade as it is still a little bit different (trust me)!
