Empties of the Month June

By Vivianism @vivianism

My last empties post was in March. How time flies eh? It's June and I'm finally ready to share another new list of my empties, some you might have already seen before. But since it's good, I reckon there's no harm sharing it again.

1. Pure Vivi Cleansing Lotion
This is so good. After trying so many micellar water, I have to say Pure Vivi is the best. It cleanses well just like any other good Micellar water such as Bioderma and Biore. But this is cheap. It only cost me $19.90 for 500 ml. If you are looking for an affordable Micellar water that does its job well and doesn't break the bank, try this. I'm already on my second bottle now. This is not available in all Watsons. I got mine in Ngee Ann City.

2. L'oreal Lip and Eye Makeup Remover
Another amazing drugstore product. I'm sure many of you would have tried this before. Micellar water doesn't remove waterproof eye makeup well so I use another cleanser for it. You can really trust on this to remove the most stubborn waterproof eye makeup. I tried other expensive brands but they sting my eyes and didn't remove well.

3. Laneige Water Bank Gel Cream EX
This is my second tub of gel cream. I turned to Laneige as there was a period of time when I felt my skin dehydrated and needed that extra hydration boost. It was so good that I bought another tub of it at the Airport sometime end of last year. One tub lasted me a good 6 months? I like the texture; it is of a gel texture yet slightly more hydrating than other gel moisturizer I've tried.

4. Avene Thermal Spring Water
Well done! Another drugstore! I bought a nasty toner that didn't make it into my empties list. (Yeah, not everything I tried get into my empties list.) I didn't want to purchase anything at that point of time, so I turned to Avene Thermal Spring Water as my toner. Sometimes I even use it to wet my beauty blender (convenient, I don't have to run to the toilet to wet it). It is one inexpensive thermal spring water that helps to calm down my sensitive skin. But as a toner, I felt like it wasn't enough. I will still continue to use it to hydrate my skin throughout the day. I kept one in the office and I like it how I'm able to keep myself fresh at work.

That's all for my empties post this month! I'm changing quite a few products so I'm gonna update my skincare routine post pretty soon! Keep checking back and subscribe to me!
