Elite 3 in 1 Cream Review

Finally back with a product review! I've actually had this product for over a month probably even close to two months and it was sent by Enjoy Vietnam but I had a few other products to review back then and I had things going on personally as I mentioned in my last blog update, and I had put this on the back burner but now I'm finally reviewing it.

The Elite 3 in 1 Cream is a Vietnamese beauty product which helps skin regeneration, prevent pimple and acne and regain skin moisture. Some user reviews also noted that this product helps with skin whitening. It also claims that all these will be visible at least within 5 days of use - apply to face and neck twice a day and may be used as a base cream. This is actually the first time trying put Vietnamese beauty product and with all these claims, I was quite excited to try it out.
If you have been a reader of my blog for awhile, you might already be familiar with my skin type, but to enlighten new readers, my skin is on the drier side especially during the winter season. My main skin problem is uneven skin tone and large pores. My skin is not sensitive and lucky me, I don't have acne problems except for the occasional hormonal break out.
It comes in a pretty pink and silver box with butterflies in it. The jar is made out of clear plastic and quite frankly, the jar is too big and and such a waste of material. You can clearly see that there's a huge gap between the amount of product and the jar. One jar contains 18g of product, which is too little in my opinion.

The product is butter yellow in color and in texture - creamy. My initial reaction upon application was that it feels slightly heavy on the face, a bit greasy and tacky. I also had this weird feeling that this product might break me out and I wasn't wrong. I woke up with two pimples on my chin and it was horrible for me because pimples on my chin had always been my complex. This is also one of the reasons why it took me so long to review this product, I had to give myself a break from it and tried it again when my skin recovered.

The cream also has a strong floral soap perfume scent which is very heady. I normally don't mind perfume scents but this one gave me quite a headache. I still don't like the scent of this product but after using it for a while I don't get headaches anymore.
Anyway, my second attempt on this product was a success: no more break outs! It still felt heavy on the skin and even if it felt greasy, my skin doesn't feel moisturized nor did it feel dry at all. The skin doesn't feel or look bad at all, on the contrary, it looks amazing the next morning: bright and fresh looking skin.
Using it as a base cream, I noticed that it gives you a white cast, similar to putting a BB Cream on. If you have a slightly darker shade of foundation, this would nicely balance the shade out. Because of the slightly heavy texture, I wouldn't recommend using this as a base cream for a full coverage foundation unless you're comfortable having that heavy feeling.
Honestly, I didn't see any drastic result from this product except for skin brightening. It did slightly even out my skin tone, but I wonder how long will I have to use this cream in order to get the results I want.
Verdict:♥♥♥/5 I've read a lot of rave reviews about this product and I so badly wanted this to work out for me and sadly it didn't. Remember, that everyone's skin is different and what doesn't work for me might just work for you. The Elite 3 in 1 Cream retails for $11.25 from Enjoy Vietnam.
*This product was sent to me for review but as always, my reviews are honest and based on my own opinions and experience.
