ELES Mineral Make Up

By Makemeupmandy @mandywebb28
I sound dramatic but I feel like I need to make an announcement. I have found some products that I have been so impressed with, they have definitely achieved HG status on my list.
I would like to introduce you to this amazing brand. ELES Mineral Makeup sources from nature, fuses science into the equation, and very brilliantly comes up with their range. They declare that ELES Mineral Makeup "allows skin to breathe freely while shielding against age aggresors".
I was sent 3 products to trial and review. Here they are!

ELES Mineral Foundation Powder SPF 15

This is a hypoallergenic pressed powder with skin protecting benefits. It also boasts of "natural, light-reflective properties". Look at the sleek packaging!
What I Like:
1) Lightweight: I have not used pressed powders in a long time due to their tendency to cake on my face. I often find them a tad too heavy for me. This ELES one was lightweight and did not cake at all.
2) Buildable coverage: I love that this pressed powder could either be used as a translucent powder or layered further for greater coverage. At times, I lightly dust a loose layer over my makeup as a last step to set everything. At other times, I pat on a couple of layers with a heavier hand to get better coverage. I love that I get to choose how I want to use it.
3) Skin Loving Goodness: The SPF in it is chemical-free! I haven't actually heard of chemical-free SPF before. Apparently, the Titanium Dioxide & Zinc Oxide in it is what provides the chemical-free sunscreen. Also, there is Vitamins A, E and C which hydrates the skin and acts as anti-oxidants.
This products retails for RRP: $64.25.

ELES Retexture Creme Face Primer

I would like to introduce you to the best Face Primer I have ever used!

What I Like:
Formula:  It pumps out with a rather thick consistency yet spreads beautifully & easily (ELES states that it is a "deeply soothing liquid-cream"). If you look closely in the pictures, you can see little sparkles in them yet it does not have a shimmery or too shiny finish. Absolutely beautiful; can you tell I am really gushing?
This primer is perfect for normal to dry skin and "soothes, hydrates, retexturizes, refines".
It definitely made my skin feel softer within minutes, hence prepping it really well for my makeup.
I have about 4 other face primers at the moment and while all of them, including this ELES one, do well in helping my makeup last for hours, I give extra brownie points to this one. For some reason, many face primers give my skin a very matte finish to the point where I feel like they dull out my skin tone. This ELES one offers a dewy but not over shiny finish and does not dull my skin tone; in fact, it gives my complexion just that beautiful subtle glow. I really love it!
While it retails at a higher price range of $86, I would say it is worth the money as only a little amount is needed each time.

ELES Hydra Bright Line Diffuser

This ELES concealer has 2 sections to it: the white side is the primer which goes on first; followed by the other side which is the concealer.

I am a concealer fanatic because of my terrible dark circles. At last count, I own about 8 concealers without even including the 3 that I palmed off to my mum recently. I like to mix and match, I like to explore and try different ones. I often use my concealers as highlighters too.
So trust me when I say, this ELES concealer has one of the best formulas I have ever tried.
For many of us, the mark of a good concealer is a formula that does not crease or sink into the creases of our fine lines.
I don't think there is a perfect miracle concealer like that, really but this ELES one really comes pretty close.
The formula has a rather watery consistency yet it offers medium to high coverage. Only a little is needed and it blends really well. It has "powerful, light-reflective properties and micro diffusers" that all help to achieve a flawless look.

If there was anything I had to complain about, it would be that I wish it came in a bigger tube with a bigger amount of product in it! Only because I can't get enough of it.
Also, the best thing about it that tops my other concealers is that it contains a chemical-free sunblock. I hate the smell of usual sunblocks so I love it when my makeup products contain sunblock in them.
This ELES concealer retails for $60.50
I am really happy I got to try out ELES because I really think I have found some very wonderful products. You can shop ELES cosmetics at their website www.elescosmetics.com where they have additional information about stockists.
