Editorial Photo Shoot

Here are a few more shots from the video/photo shoot I did makeup for with photographer Mark Morgan.
{The above photos of Lisa-Marie are fabulous despite the fact you can barely see the intense eye makeup I did on here. We were all freezing in the studio and this teeny little model also had a fan blowing on her the majority of her shoot. She threw this fury coat on and Mark instantly picked up his camera again and started shooting her. Thats what I love about working with Mark, even the smallest things inspire him and those inspirations usually turn into solid gold. I love these shots.}{I Particularly love this shot of Auna because 1) she had a completely different look from the first model with more of a rockabilly feel, and 2) she has such a unique and fun look. She's only been modeling for a year and I can't wait to work with her again. She was sweet and shy, yet easy to make conversation with. It was her first time working with everyone involved so I'm sure that can be a little nerve racking. I tried to make her as comfortable as possible. And you can see my makeup work!}
{Oh Richard. What I loved about working with Richard is that he takes his modeling seriously but at the same time he is so humble about it. Most of his friends don't even know that he's a world known model, that he's been featured in big name magazines, or that he travels to Australia quite frequently for fashion shows/shoots. For a while even his girlfriend didn't know he modeled. I like that. He was super easy to work with and its not everyday I get to create a smoky eye on a man. I very intentionally made it look a little wet and messy for somewhat of that "Heroin Chic" look. Thats just what I call it ok? We needed his eyes to look a little sunken in and dark. I used lots of black eye liner and a mixture of golden brown and red brown shadows. His skin didn't need much. I matted his skin and contoured him and left the eyes as the main focus.}
Mark and I have another shoot coming up this Saturday morning and I can't wait! Keep your eyes peeled for those photos.
