Easy Halloween Makeup: Glamorous Vampire

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
Happy Saturday, everyone! I wanted to do a rough draft of the makeup look I had in mind for Monday night and I love how it turned out, so I decided to go ahead and post it now instead of waiting. I was going to do something inspired by Marie from The Aristocats, but then I decided to do something a little more traditional and spooky, but with my own little twist. I hope you guys like how this glamorous vampire look turned out!

Eyes:
The first thing I did was prime my eyes using M.A.C's Paint Pot in Painterly. On the lids and lower lash line, I applied the Glo Minerals Cream Stay Shadow Stick in Concord. I also applied Aphrodite from the Makeup Geek x Manny MUA palette. This actually is not necessary because these crayons are so pigmented and crease proof. To blend out Concord, I used Mars from the same palette in the crease as well as the lower lash line. I used a combination of Aphrodite and Mars to fill in my brows and I shaped them using Tarte's Shape Tape Concealer. For my wing. I used Lancome's new Grandiose liquid liner. For my lashes, I used Maybelline's The Falsies Push Up Angel Mascara.

Face:
Instead of a primer, I used NYX's Pro Foundation Mixer in white. On top of that, I blended Makeup Forever's HD Foundation Stick. I lightly concealed using Tarte's Shape Tape Concealer and set everything with Kat Von D's Lock It Setting Powder. Where you would normally use bronzer, I used Mars from the Makeup Geek x Manny MUA palette. This ended up looking more pink than what I wanted, but I just decided to go with it. To highlight, I used Artemis from the same palette.

Lips:
This is the most important part of this look. I need to practice a little more with the whole smeared/dripping blood thing, but it isn't terrible. For my actual lipstick, I used Tattoo Junkee's Lip Paint and lip effects in Rebel. To give the illusion of smeared blood, I used a lipstick brush and I drew some random lines (using Rebel) coming from the corner of my mouth. I used a damp beauty sponge and tapped the lines to give the smeared effect. I also used NYX's Lip of the Day Lip Liner in Heat Wave for the little squiggles.

I didn't go too over the top because all I am doing Halloween night is handing out candy, but I still wanted to look festive.
What are your plans for Halloween?
