That is my first lesson of 2013.
Let me explain in a bit more deal, in direct relation to my crazy life.
+ Shitty Situation #1: I get a phone call from my Dad saying that he lost his dog in San Francisco. I am in San Diego. First, I start bawling my eyes out and having a full blow panic attack. In my family, our dogs are like our freaking appendages. There was absolutely no possible way he could not have his dog. I quit the tears, and grabbed the computer. With the help of my two friends we posted info on at least 20 different lost pet sites, called just about every animal association in SF, posted all over Facebook (including all SF news pages), and even enlisted a search team in a DIFFERENT city. I headed to my moms to wait it out. Second I walked in the door, BOOM, e-mail. Someone had him at their house. He was back home 10 minutes later. In less than 4 hours, I found a lost dog 8 hours away.
+ Shitty Situation #2: I already told you guys how I lost my phone in a previous post. I am pleased to tell you, I EFFING FOUND IT. I was so determined to get those damn pics from NYE, and I didn’t stop till I had my phone back in my hands. Ended up with Larry “Clause” (our cab driver who looked like Santa), who saved the phone from a drunk who tried to steal it, coming to my house at 8pm last night to drop it off. Whatta guy. I worked for 3 days to track that bad boy down, which is nearly impossible when a phone is dead. Best part is… I got the iPhone 5 and the old one sold in like 5 minutes on Craigslist.
