Does Everyone With Heart Disease Have Diabetes?

By Dietdoctor @DietDoctor1

How can you know if you're at risk for heart disease or not? Traditional cholesterol panels are not usually very helpful - but they should not be ignored completely either.

What may matter most of all is something discovered by the now retired 94-years-old doctor Joseph R. Kraft. He discovered a very strong link between heart disease and diabetes type 2... so strong that he said this:

Those with cardiovascular disease not identified with diabetes... are simply undiagnosed.

It's quite an interesting story, and at the recent Low Carb Vail conference Dr. Jeffry Gerber told it effectively. The presentation, shot with 4 cameras and with the slides edited in, and including captions, is now available on the member site.
