DIY Nail Polish - Iridescent Chunks Top Coat

By Makeupandartfreak @MakeUp_ArtFreak
I've been so into "Indie nail polishes" lately. Especially ones you can DIY! And I'm not talking abut mixing some colors of polish together to create a new one. I mean actually MAKE you one polish, with a clear base. There are so many ways you can create your own nail polish! You can mix an eyeshadow with a clear base polish, as I did here. You can mix glitter into it, and basically anything you can think of! Just be creative! :)
This time, I've created a multi-color chunks top coat using a candy wrap. Here are the steps:
Eat the candy, take the wrap :)
Cut it into small pieces Pour the pieces into a bottle of clear nail polish, using a paper Annndd.. There you go!
With no base underneath  With white base (Essie "Blanc")With dark base (Nail Inc. London - "Belgrave Place")

I've decided to go complete with the dark one :)
Try to do one yourself! It's really fun and lets you get creative! :) The last picture above kind of reminds me of Deborah Lippmann nail polish in Ray Of Light. (You can also get more of Deborah Lippmann polishes on Apothica). Have you tried to create your own nail polish? Send me a link to the picture\blog post! I'd love to see it! :)
