Virtually everyone knows about Demi Moore’s past relationship with Ashton Kutcher, 15 years her junior. No one thought it would last as long as it did- all the way to the altar and beyond. However, as many predicted, Ashton cheated on his cougar love with a much younger (even than him) woman and it came out that the age difference was apparently too great for him.
Demi appeared to be devastated and even went through an awkward stage of showing herself scantily clad with fab abs, a tight butt and an overall beautiful shape. Her grief led her to this need to tell the world she is still attractive and desirable and could compete with younger women- none of which led Ashton to return to the relationship. Demi went on to date another much younger man, Harry Morton, but either decided he really was just too young (code for unsophisticated, uninteresting, not challenging?) or there wasn’t enough for them to continue to see where it would go beyond friendship.
The interesting twist is that there relationship introduced her to Harry’s dad, hard Rock mogul Peter Morton- and apparently sparks ignited. Maybe Demi and harry ended it because she realized she would rather see where things could go with his father. Word on the street is that Demi and Peter have been seeing each other for several months- and that she is charmed with this charismatic, older man.
If things progress, Demi won’t have to work so hard at appearing younger than she is, won’t feel compelled to compete with 20 something’s for her man- and may actually be with a man she can relate to and have intelligent conversations with. What took you so long Demi?
