DEEPIKA PADUKONE VOGUE 2014 JUNE 2014 INSPIRED MAKEUP TUTORIAL
Hey everyone! As I said earlier I have been itching to do some makeup looks as its been quiet some while. I was browsing the net last night and saw some pictures of Deepika Padukone Vogue June 2014 photo shoot. I was mesmerized at this dusky beauty. Though from makeup perspective there wasnt anything too artsy, but I loved the bold eyes look. And please when you see my take please dont laugh!
So here is my take on her makeup look.
EYE MAKEUP:
In the pictures I couldnt see much eye makeup other than the black eyeliner which is quiet thick and bold on both the lids and waterline.
I began the makeup by filling my eyebrows with a deep taupe brown eyeshadow.
I then primed my eyes and applied an eye shadow close to my skin tone all over the eyes up till under the brow bone .
It doesnt show much in the picture but I did want to create a crease so I used a soft brown eye shadow and applied it in the crease area.
Next taking a black gel eye liner I applied it on the lids, a thick eyeliner at that and slightly winging it and same thick eyeliner on the waterline as well. Taking a pencil brush I smudged the the eye liner and using the same brush I took black eyeshadow and smudged the eye liner further.
Once did that I again applied the black eyeshadow on top of the eyeliner to darken the eyeliner and intensify the whole look. I also took some black eyeshadow and applied it very lightly onto the crease and blended it well.
Add two coats of mascara to both top and bottom lashes.
The eye makeup is done.
FACE MAKEUP:
Moving on to the face makeup I applied a dewy finish foundation for this look, I am using Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation.
Did my concealing using the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer .
Its a bronzed look so a heavy hand of bronzer is required. I have contoured the face using a darker foundation. To read more on how I contour click here .
I did some highlighting too. I concentrated on the under eye area creating a triangle and on the bridge of the nose and on the center of the forehead and blended it seemlessly in to the foundation. I used a foundation lighter than my skin tone for highlighting.
I applied the Physician’s Formula Bronze Booster to give my face the sun kissed glow. I skipped the blush because it doesnt seem like she has any blush on in this look. I set the entire look by lightly dusting a powder under the eyes to set the concealer and on my forehead where I tend to get oily. The face makeup is done too.
For the lipstick I chose Lakme 9 to 5 lipstick Tea Break . I just took some on to my finger and patted it on the lips.
