Deadwater 2017 - Results

The inaugural Deadwater 2017 multi-stage race finished on Thursday and the overall detailed results have been posted at the link below. This 235 mile challenge proved to be very difficult. As the website says, 60 applied, 45 were accepted, 18 made it to the start line - 12 finished.

The run from the Scottish Border to the Welsh border required the runners to carry their food and more than a few found themselves off track over the 6 stage course which ran through cities and part of the Pennine Way in a very wet week.

John Parkin was the overall winner in just under 47 hours and Anna Gilmore was the first woman home in 52:34.
