Daycell Dr. Vita C Review

By Urhappybunnie @joaniebunnie
"Dark spots and dull skin begone!" That's what I first thought when I was trying out this Daycell Dr. Vita C cream which promises to give skin a brightening effect with it's Vitamin C content.
Daycell Dr. Vita C is actually part of the Vitamin line that targets different skin types, in this case, the Vita C is a whitening and brightening product with melanin control and anti-aging properties meant for dull skin with a 10% vitamin C extract. It also contains kiwi and aloe vera extract.

It comes in this large ointment tube with a silver cap. I don't really care much for this packaging because it seriously made me feel like I'm using medicine. It has a citrus scent - like opening a bottle of orange juice. the product is white and slightly thick.

This product felt really greasy when I applied it all over my face. It was even worse under makeup. My whole face just melted off an hour after, while under the heat of the sun. I didn't attempt to try it again beneath my makeup. What I like doing though is applying it at night under my eyes to help brighten my dark under eye circles and to keep that area well moisturized. After using it for a good 2 weeks just under my eyes, I saw no difference. Even with constant nightly application and adequate sleep, there wasn't any brightening effect.
This product is just a fail for me and honestly I'm not a fan of the greasy feeling it leaves my skin. The only good thing I find with this product is that it helps keep my under eye moisturized.
