Darth Vader Died?

Why do our days off together seem to go by so fast? Yesterday we lounged all day because I've been fighting a cold. Stephen was sick last week and I thought I had avoided it but nope. We finished Army Wives. We were really disappointed with the last season. It was such a good show overall but when they started letting go of the original cast and brining in new characters, it just wasn't the same. We started watching The Man in the High Castle on Amazon Prime. I'm loving it. I've always been obsessed with the the Holocaust and World War II. My husband told me about this show a few months ago and we actually watched the first episode together but I fell asleep. Typical me. Then a few weeks ago I saw a preview for the show and I told my husband, "I'd like to give that show a try once we've finished Army Wives" and he reminded me that that was the show we tried watching. We started it again and this time I stayed awake. I highly recommend it, especially if you're into history.

I was still feeling ill this morning. I'm congested one minute and the next my nose is running and I'm sneezing multiple times. I just hope this doesn't turn into a cough. I absolutely hate coughing. My husband still hadn't seen the new Star Wars movie so I told him we could go today. We chose the 10am showing and he asked me to wear one of his shirts. 

I'm pretty sure he was a proud husband, especially when the girl outside of Trader Joe's later commented on our shirts. I've only seen the first three movies and that was when Stephen and I first started dating. I agreed to watch them but I fell asleep during every movie. Star Wars has never ever ever been my thing. I'll be honest though, this one wasn't that bad. And I stayed awake the entire time! My husband really enjoyed it. 

Target was next door so I asked if we could head there after the movie. I had a motive. I've seen so many of the Valentine's Day releases and I was dying to see if I could find any of it. My husband was actually handing me goodies that he found before I did. I'm pretty much set when it comes to Valentine's Day stickers. Now I just need to get my hands on the new washi from Michael's. I have yet to find any at my local store. 

We just had a Dunkin' Donuts open down the street from us. Every time we've driven by there has been a long line out the door. Today we only saw three people out the door so we stopped. I'm going to have to get the hang of their coffee. I wasn't sure how to order and I need to get used to the flavor. I had asked for a sugar free syrup and they actually used an extract instead of a syrup so it took me off guard. My husband ordered a peppermint mocha iced coffee and his was delicious. 

My husband always jokes with me because it can take days for me to finish an iced coffee...Half of mine from today is in the fridge for tomorrow. He's always right. Well, most of the time.
