I've recently spotted a few pictures of Anne Hathaway dressed in full Catwoman costume and there has been much talk about it. Some like it and some don't but is the costume really that bad? In fact is Anne Hathaway right for the part? After some thought I came to the conclusion that the Nolan brothers haven't really put a foot wrong when it comes to all things Batman which gives me faith in the final film in the trilogy. The Catwoman costume has brought quite a bit of criticism with it however there are some good points to consider such as;
- I'm sure that Selina Kyle wouldn't have the money for a fancy Catwoman outfit so her look in the new film is in keeping with the realism that Nolan has created.
- The outfit goes with her profession (ahem) as a thief. Erm I assume that's what she is. Therefore it serves its purpose.
- As for Anne Hathaway not being right for the role (and believe me I had negative thoughts about it when I first heard the news) the fact she was picked out of many hopefuls speaks volumes. Nolan must have seen something in her to have chosen her for the part.
