Dare to Do with #SachchiAdvice

By Jhilmil D Saha @jhilmildsaha
Since my childhood I have loved to write. Being the only child of my parents, I had got everything that came to me before I had even desired. Although my parents have always taught me to be strong and self-dependent, I actually faced the real and harsh world once I came out of the shell of my hometown and ventured out, to pursue my higher studies, and eventually for my career. That was the real world, far from my mother's warm embrace and my father's caring hug.

It was a new world with different people to whom I was just a person trying to get my foothold strong. I was scared and often hurt. However, I got a friend, who in spite of staying far from me, was giving continuous support to me. He was also away from his home with dreams in his eyes, just like me. We used to chat over phone and share our difficult times and always ended up on a positive note. I realized within sometime that he was my best friend, a true friend in need.

Life after studies is much harder, and I moved to a city very far from my hometown with a job. And thankfully my best friend was also there, pursuing his Doctoral research. He became my biggest support in a place where everything, starting from the food to the language was alien to me. He always gave me tips to stay happy and to work with a definite goal in mind. Life was never better and our friendship deepened with time.

Till date I consider this man as my best friend. No matter what I do, it is 50% of his efforts and support that I do. He is my crudest critique and biggest fan and he has shown me how to follow my dreams and achieve my goals, without hesitating and waiting for tomorrow. My life would have been meaningless without his #SachchiAdvice and he is none other than my husband.
