Echo, the latest album by almost all acoustic neo-psysh xct Custard Flux, comes to vinyl via the Fruits de Mer Records' Friends of the Fish label: 100 copies on a blend of opaqueo orange and transparent sky blue, and 150 on transparent blue. The project is the brainchild of Gregory Curvey, with Walt Prettyman on Violin, and Timothy Prettyman on double bass.
Curvey has come up with yet another copious set of glorious, multi-faceted tracks. He is a craftsman and sonic wizard, who has put the best things of early pastoral Floyd, Love, and the late Sixties Kinks in a melting pot and added his signature guitar style and treated vocals to create a dazzling, dreamy tapestry of luscious melodies, smart breaks, and the odd bit of spoken word and studio banter.
Both versions come with a bonus CD with 5 previously unreleased songs. Pre-order here.
