CUPKIN Monday Vol.III: Summer Chic OOTD

By Rashi Ravi Ganguly @sincerelylazy
Hello hello dearies! How've you been? I've been totally missing from the online scene since the past two weeks- was having some internet connectivity issues in my locality, plus my son's summer vacations are on; so I took a break from online/social media presence and caught-up with some reading and lots of playing pakra-pakri (Catch-&-run), chhupa-chhupi (Hide-&-seek), train-train etc. with my son after work! We also had some nice squally thundershowers here in Kolkata, so there's some much-needed respite from heat as of now.
Today's CUPKIN post features a cool and stylish summer outfit post by the stunningly beautiful Sonali, my friend and owner of CUPKIN. Take a look!

Over to Sonali:
Hey friends! Designing jewelry and being a crazy shopaholic I need to keep my self decently fashionable and presentable. For me fashion is something that lets me be comfortable, allows me to experiment and yet is friendly to the  pocket.

So this is the outfit I just wore in hurry, for a casual business meeting.
  • Cotton top: Self-designed, keeping the sun in mind, bright and Aztec kinda print :)
  • Navy blue jeggings: Wills Lifestyle
  • Sling bag: Baggit
  • Ballet flats: Mussoorie street-shopping!
  • Hair accessory: My favorite from Cupkin :D
  • Lipstick: Faces Go Chic 512

And I am ready to go!

You know the best thing that happened? My client ordered for this same hair accessory on the spot!!! ;)*****She looks so pretty and chic, don't you think?! I too love Aztec prints, and that hair accessory is so diva-esque, yet fun! In fact, such modernised maangtikas - mathapattis as they are called - are the 'IT' accessories of the moment, with the likes of Deepika Padukone and Katy Perry flaunting them on runways and red-carpets. I'm SO getting myself one asap! What do you think of this OOTD? Do you like wearing mathapattis too for a day-outing? Let me know in the comments :)
