#COLOURYOURWORLD with Lady Jayne

By Triedandtestedblogger @triedtestedblog

Hi everyone,

I’m not someone that is very adventurous in life. I follow the rules, I’ve never dyed my hair, I don’t have a tattoo and I don’t go out too much either. Some may even say my life is a little boring!

Lady Jayne’s new campaign #COLOURYOURWORLD is the exact opposite and its helped me step out of my comfort zone. To me, colouring my world is introducing something fun and exciting, bright and brand new into my life and so when the Lady Jane Colour Bomb Hair Chalk products arrived at my doorstep, I was really excited to give it a go as it’s something I never would’ve ventured into in the ‘real world’.

The Lady Jayne Colour Bomb Hair Chalks give a fun, do it yourself temporary injection of color to your hair to #COLOURYOURWORLD. Designed to be quick, easy and mess free, the hair chalk applicator makes it easy for anyone to use.

Hesitant but excited, I embarked on this new adventure.

There are 4 simple steps to follow in order to apply the hair chalk and these are as follows:
Step 1: Before applying the Lady Jayne Colour Bomb, place a towel over your clothing for protection from possible spillage.
Step 2: Section your hair where you want to apply color.
Step 3: Apply the Lady Jayne Colour Bomb by running the applicator in a downward direction through the hair.
Step 4: Lightly shake off excess residue and spray with hairspray to seal.

TOP TIP: To allow even distribution of the hair chalk and to seal the hair, it’s recommended to use a leave in conditioner while those with blonde, fair or bleached hair are advised to use either a leave in conditioner or dry shampoo before applying the chalk.

Taking inspiration from the beautiful hair chalk looks I’ve seen all over the internet, I decided to give my hair some waves (to give my hair some texture and body) and apply the Lady Jayne Colour Bomb Hair Chalk in ‘Rebel Pink’ in a way similar to highlighting to give a wearable but fun final result.

What I was most impressed by was how bold the color was, even on my dark hair! I only had to pull the applicator through my hair once to get great color payoff that really adhered to my hair. There was minimal fallout from the product, only occurring when shaking off the excess from the hair and with the towel in place, clothing is protected.

After applying hairspray to set the colour, I didn’t experience any rubbing off of the color and the color was locked and didn’t fade throughout the day. Removal was quick and easy, by simply shampooing the hair, all the color is removed easily and your hair is left in the same condition it was prior to using the Lady Jayne Colour Bomb Hair Chalk. It didn’t leave my hair dry or damaged in any way!

The Lady Jayne Colour Bomb Hair Chalks come in 4 beautiful pastel shades, perfect for this autumn time! They are: Midnight Violet and Rebel Pink (which come with the Lady Jayne Applicator) and Mystic Green and Candy Pink (which are the chalk refills).

Trialing the Lady Jayne Colour Bomb Hair Chalks has definitely helped me color my world in more ways than one! Not only did my hair have a lovely fun pop of pink but it’s helped build a path for myself to take more risks when it comes to beauty and even life!

You can purchase the Lady Jayne Colour Bomb Hair Chalk applicators (Midnight Violet and Rebel Pink) for $9.99 and Hair Chalk refills (Mystic Green and Candy Pink) for $6.99 from Priceline, Target and selected pharmacies nationally.
