ColourPop Haul With Swatches and First Impressions of New Products

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema

Happy Friday, everyone! I placed an order with ColourPop the day the Ultra Satin Lips launched and I have been trying everything out since Saturday. I wish I would gotten more than just two shades of the Ultra Satin Lip because they are awesome! They are much better than the Ultra Matte Lips in my book.
For the Ultra Satin Lips, I bought The Rabbit and Lyin King. The Rabbit is an intense, bright fuchsia with blue reflects. It was a little challenging for me to get a good picture showing the blue, but you can definitely see it in person. Lyin King is more of a raspberry shade. The formula of the Ultra Satin Lips is perfection. If you don't like matte liquid lipsticks, try these. They are long lasting without being so drying. I will do a more in depth review of these two soon.

I also bought the Where The Night Is quad, which was done in collaboration with KathleenLights. I have her first quad, Where The Light Is, so I had to get this one. The colors are pretty unique, but surprisingly easy to use. The formula is amazing, of course. Somehow these feel even more smooth and spongey than the other ColourPop shadows I have. But they apply well, have great pigment, and last all day. The shades are Porter, Weenie, Telepathy, and Midnight.
Oh, and if you only want one or two of the shades from the quad, you can buy them individually. Of course the quad and three of the shades are out of stock.

And since I love the Lumiere Lippie Stix so much, I had to get Lumiere 2. Unfortunately, I am not sure that I like it. The color isn't quite what I expected and the formula is a bit uncomfortable. I have only worn it once, though. Maybe my thoughts will change when I use it more.

Last but not least are the eyeliners. I got four total, two of the creme gel pencils and two of the creme gel pots. I LOVE the pencils. They are pigmented and stay all day on the waterline. They are soft, but  not so soft that they smear all over the place. I got the shades Exit and No Shame. The pots have a drier texture, which makes them a bit challenging to work with. But they do have great pigment and they stay put all day long. They also come in great colors. I bought Piggy Bank and Brew-HaHa.

Overall, I am pleased with everything except Lumiere 2. Hopefully that will change. You need to add these to your ColourPop wish list.
See you soon!
