Hey everyone, today’s post is going to be Colorbar Ultimate Mousse Foundation review. The Indian drugstore brands has jumped the mousse foundation bandwagon. Colorbar has really upped their game by introducing new products consistently, and I liked their eye primer and face primer a lot. The Colorbar face primer is really nice. Okay so moving on to the mousse foundation.
COLORBAR ULTIMATE MOUSSE FOUNDATION
Price: Rs.650/- for 15 ml of the product is a bit much.
COLORBAR ULTIMATE MOUSSE FOUNDATION
Packaging: The foundation comes in a round jar with a silver twist open cap. There is a separator which protects the foundation. Though not the best packaging from hygiene perspective, the consistency of the foundation is on a thicker side so a pump packaging wouldn’t dispense the product.
COLORBAR ULTIMATE MOUSSE FOUNDATION REVIEW
Texture: The foundation is mousse like, just as the name suggests, its soft and buttery and has a whipped kind of feel to it. The consistency is thicker so you need not require a lot of product. Colorbar mousse foundation blends into the skin very effortlessly. Its very light weight and doesnt feel cakey on the skin.
COLORBAR ULTIMATE MOUSSE FOUNDATION CAFFE MISTO
Since its so light weight its easy to layer onto the skin as well. The coverage it provides is light to medium. So its a good everyday wear foundation. The finish on the skin is semi matte, not exactly dewy, but not full on matte also. Since its a silicone base foundation does cover pores effectively, but I wouldnt recommend it to anyone with sensitive skin as it might break them out.
COLORBAR ULTIMATE MOUSSE FOUNDATION REVIEW
COLORBAR ULTIMATE MOUSSE FOUNDATION is a good everyday foundation which doesnt melt away in the summer heat and provides medium coverage which is buildable. It feels so light on the skin and blends so easily and quickly too. That is hwat I love the most about this foundation. It doesnt take long for it to blend into the skin. If you have good skin and you arent looking for heavy duty foundation, a foundation that evens out your skin tone ans still let your skin see through, then this is your foundation. Although you can build up the coverage to medium easily.
One major con in the range is that it doesnt come in a variety of shades. Only 3 shades, so if you find a shade that matches your complexion then great else you dont have many options to choose from. Maybe in future they introduce more shades, hopefully.
This is how it looks upon blending. Very easy to blend and feels very light on the skin. Its easily buildable for more coverage.
The staying power is also very nice, it easily survived me on a hot day for over 6 plus hours. And during winter months you dont necessarily need to set this foundation with a powder.
OVERALL THOUGHTS:
I am glued to this foundation, I have been using it pretty consistently.I like the finish look on my skin when I apply this foundation. Have you tried this foundation? How did you like it? Do share in the comments. Until next time…
