Colorbarrecently launched a whole range ofcolorful accessories. I was super excited to try their range and ordered Makeup Brushes and Manicure Kit from www.nykaa.com. I’ll be reviewing each brush separately and today I am present to you the Blush Brush from this particular range.

Colorbar says: Look no further if you’ve been searching for that happy blush you get when your heart’s been racing! This perky and fluffy brush applies just the right bit of color to take every skin tone from drab to fab in a flash.

Packaging: The brush comes in a black, white and pink packaging. The Blush Brush is stout white stem and black at the front and comes with magenta bristles, making the whole look of the brush attractive. The brush is a little shorter than the length of palm and the chubby look make the appearance overall cute. This makes gripping and holding the brush easy for me.The shape of the brush is fairly good to pick the right amount of blush needed and deposits the right amount of color to the cheeks. The color is well blended due to it’s heavily dense formula. There is no label on the brushes and you get confused whether it’s a Blush or a Powder brush, as both look almost similar. A plus point about the packaging is the packet it comes in. The blister pack is such that it can be open and closed when required which helps to store the brush easily. It’s kind of a plastic pouch. Quality: The quality of the brush is however a disaster. The bristles of the brush were scratchy when new, I thought of using it that ways because somewhere in my mind I thought maybe after washing it might become softer but my expectations failed when after cleaning it for 3-4 times the result was same SCRATCHY. The brush sheds much after washing and it dried pretty very quickly. Availability: Online as well as in Colorbar stores.

Final Product: the effort that Colorbar has taken to make the packaging attractive, wish the same has been done to the texture of the brush. The shape is perfect for picking the right amount of brush and blends the color perfectly well, but as the bristles are scratchy on skin, I avoid using this. The brush carries no label and hence confused with Powder brush. The brush sheds heavily after washing twice, but the best part is the magenta bristles do not stain. I prefer buying Vega & Audrey’s Blush brush which is pretty much lesser in price and best in quality. Rating: 2/5
