Who doesn’t loves makeup? We all do, but finding the right product for your skin type and fitting in your budget seems to be a big hassle for everyone. Well if I rewind the time a little back I was continuously searching for a good, reasonable concealer. And to my utter surprise, I randomly stumbled upon YouTube and checked some nice reviews and saying from beauty Gurus about this Holy Grail product. Yes, it has become my ultimate Holy Grail product. No, I am not boasting, this all in one Makeup stick does n’t make my life harder and delivers what it has promised. Now whenever there’s a new launch of any new Makeup, I am dead excited to buy and use it. Colorbar has been my favorite brand for ages. There’s nothing about their products which I don’t like. I absolutely love how each and every Makeup product from Colorbar is worth a catch and worth every penny too. Now let's move ahead and check how the Colorbar Full Cover Makeup Stick fared for me.
What Colorbar Claims:
A lightweight, creamy, medium coverage Concealer Plus foundation that provides smooth, long-wearing and natural finish hiding all skin blemishes & dark circles and even out skin tone. This emollient based foundation is so concentrated that a tiny amount can provide complete coverage to even skin tone.
How To Use:
- The best way to apply this product is with fingertips as it will warm up the product before application.
- Pat lightly onto the places where you need to cover and slowly blend the edges away for a smooth finish.
- In a rush, small strokes with fingertips will also do the trick.
- Can also be applied with a firm brush or latex sponge.

Colorbar Full Cover Makeup Stick comes in a silver retractable stick type of packaging. Additionally, it's wrapped in a silver packaged box, which makes it convenient and easy to use. Carrying in your purse or anywhere becomes less of a hassle, because there’s no issue of the product getting either damaged or leaking and melting away. You can feel the sturdiness of the stick when you carry it in your hands, it’s heavy and bulky and rotates very well. It none the less feels like a royal luxurious product which one possesses.
This Colorbar full cover Makeup sticks come in three shades, yes very limited shades in a country where people have such different skin complexions. Not everybody can actually match well to the limited three shades available by them. I bought the shade 02 Au Natural, which is a complete exact match for me. This shade has neutral undertones with good amounts of yellow to suit Indian skin tones. It wasn’t very hard for me to decide the right shade for my skin type.
Shade 01 Fresh Ivory is for fair skin tones, and shade 03 Warm Beige is for dusky skin tones. I was a bit confused between shade 01 and my shade 02 Au Natural. But I trusted my instincts and obviously used my brains in selecting the right shade for myself. I didn’t want to look like a white ghost so I went basic, and this shade was the perfect match for my skin tone.
How’s The Texture of Colorbar full cover Makeup Stick?
I am completely in love with the texture of this product. It's absolutely creamy and super easy to blend with fingers. You can also use a stippling brush for a brilliant finish and Beauty Blenders can help in the application too. But the best part was I didn’t really find the need to moisturize before applying this smooth as butter Makeup Stick **But moisturizing the skin is a very important step in prepping your face for makeup base** I immediately used it on my full face, covered up my medium dark circles instantly, and voila I was ready to go and shine. And as Colorbar itself claims that using fingertips is the best way to apply this, because as soon as the product comes in contact with the fingers, the heat from our skin makes it easy to apply and blend. I didn’t have to set this with any compact powder or loose powder. You can skip your primer because the staying power is very good, it starts fading after five to six hours.

The Coverage of Colorbar Makeup Stick is medium to full and highly buildable. It's completely your choice how much coverage would you like from sheer to medium to high. The makeup stick covers all imperfections, discolorations or pigmentations easily from the face, even acne marks and blemishes are perfectly hidden with this masterpiece. It works as both concealer and foundation.
It doesn’t make face look cakey or heavy at all, instead, my skin feels moisturized and has a healthy, luminous, vibrant and radiant glow. It acted very nicely on my skin and suited me the best amongst all foundations which I have used till date. Other foundations sometimes make my face excessively sweaty and I have to touch up every few hours or keep a blotting paper handy. But all my woes have diminished after I replaced my other foundations with Colorbar full cover Makeup stick. My oily skin loves it.
I’m highly impressed the way the product has fared out for me. Taking care of all my skincare woes and relieving me whenever I have to rush to a party or attend a function. This Colorbar full cover makeup stick did not cause any break out on my skin.
