COLLECTION: My Sleek MakeUP i-Divine Palettes + Swatches

By Reeseatomic @reeseatomic

Hi everyone! Today I’m going to share with you my collection of Sleek MakeUP i-Divine eyeshadow palettes that are now available from Lipstick Republic. I’m so excited that there is now a stockist of Sleek MakeUP in Australia.

For those who don’t know, Sleek MakeUP is a brand from the UK that sell highly pigmented products (and when I say “highly pigmented” I actually mean insanely pigmented) at very affordable prices. I heard about this brand about two or three years ago; just before I started blogging and even wore the i-Divine Acid palette to the first IMATS I went as a Beauty Blogger. I got so many compliments that day on how vibrant and colourful my makeup was that day.

There have been many limited edition palettes so when they’re released it’s always a good idea to jump on them before they get sold out. There have been many I’ve been trying to get my paws on and wished I had gotten them when I had the chance.
The formula of some of the shadows have changed from the first time I tried these out. They’re not as pigmented anymore, but it’s still a decently quality. Still very buildable and still very bright. The newer palettes look slightly different the ones previous, but it doesn’t make a difference in the quality of the product itself. Also, the older palettes don’t have names for the individual eyeshadows and I believe the newer ones do.

One of the palettes – the Acid palette – is not allowed to be sold in the U.S due to their FDA regulations. Lucky for us in Australia they can be. I’m not too sure if the FDA has banned any other palettes but I think it’s only the Acid palette because of it’s neon colours. There are some U.S beauty bloggers and YouTubers who have been able to get one through other means, which is pretty sneaky.

The shimmer shadows are all very soft and pigmented. They’ve got massive chunks of glitter in them so use them with caution to avoid too much fall-out. The matte shadows will need to build up on to get the right opacity. Some mattes shadows are softer than others which will make them more pigmented, so you can often notice that some palettes aren’t always consistent with their colours. All palettes come with a sponge applicator; I don’t keep these, I just throw them out because they’re not great quality.

I have five palettes to share with you today, all available at Lipstick Republic. None of the swatches featured have bases under them and photographed under natural light.

The Original
This was my very first Sleek MakeUP palette and I was beyond excited about it. They’re all amazing soft and very pigmented. The only matte shadow of this palette is the black which is also very pigmented but it works really well at darkening up the other shadows.
My favourites are the purple (second left, top row), the blue (third from the right, top row), rose gold (second left, bottom row) and the one next to it on the right, a beautiful champagne.
Great on the lids for a night out or to brighten up a look a little, when added it along the bottom lashes.

Storm
The Storm palette has a lot of neutral shades but only three of the colours are matte. A very nice range of light shades at the top and the darker shades at the bottom, it’s a pretty versatile palette for those like me who don’t really venture off neutrals too often. I’ve done some very sexy smokey eye looks with this palettes as well.

TOP L to R: Orbit, Ink, Highness, Nior, Dune and Pillow Talk.
BOTTOM L to R: Thunder, Maple, Flesh, Paper Bag, Villan and Fern

Ultra Matte V2 (Neutral)

TOP L to R: Chill, Pout, Sugarlite, Dragon Fly, Pucker and Bammi
BOTTOM L to R: Cricket, Bolt, Strike, Floss, Crete and Pow!

Ultra Matte V1 (Colourful)

Acid
This is my far my favorite palette of all them, but it’s not one of those palettes you can wear often. The colours in this palettes are NUTS! The neon yellow, orange, green and the white are the chalkiest, but I found that if you put a coloured base under them they aren’t as chalky. My favorite is the cranberry shade (far left, top row); it’s a perfect pink and purple shade that I haven’t seen anywhere else before. If there is one palette from the Sleek i-Divine range you need – IT’S THIS ONE!

The two other palettes I want to try out is the Bad Girl and the Au Natural palettes. They’re next on my shopping list.
I do own other Sleek products, so if you want me to show you those collections let me know in the comments below.

All of these i-Divine palettes are now available from Lipstick Republic for $14.95 and if you drop RepublicVIBs at the checkout, you’ll get a 10% off your total purchase.
