I used to think that lasagna was the 4 hour long process that included working in a kitchen with no a/c and making noodles from scratch. I'm out. Then people like Barilla came up with these little gems. Win!
I used an all beef mixture for this lasagna mainly because I love Italian sausage, but just not what it does to my tum. I'll stop, but you see where I'm going with this. You can totally use a 50/50 beef/Italian sausage mix and it would be tasty.
This lasagna comes together quickly as the sauce is made in the same pan as the meat and the noodles are oven ready. It makes a rather large dish and can feed a crowd or make great leftovers!
