Hello there! Now on to the second part of my CHRISTmas Series. Last time, I featured the "Non-Traditional Christmas Decoration" Home Styling Ideas and now I'll be featuring some tablescapes to go with those themes.
Table styling/setting is as important as the food that you serve. In fact, it plays an essential role in making meals even more enjoyable and memorable. Isn't it that a beautifully set dining table can make every dish look extra special? So for the not so talented cooks out there, here's a tip: Make simple dishes look mouth-watering by serving them nicely, use your best chinas if you must! ;p
Anyway, I originally wanted to set and stage everything but with all my other projects, events, etc., I don't have time anymore so next year nalang. For now, I just gathered photos again as "pegs" to give you ideas and help you with your planning. Next year I'll be more prepared, promise!
So, going back to the tablescapes, for the White Christmas theme, you can go for a simple yet tasteful setting like this,
and this.
Or, you can go all out bongga like THIS!
Decorating Tip: use gold sparingly for a classy, elegant effect.
This is an OA version that looks like a set for a movie (The Lord of the Rings or pwede din Okay Ka Fairy Ko hahaha)!
This is a toned-down version and is much more achievable yet still impressive.
And for the most doable vesion: Tadaah...feat. Rudolph and the gang!
Oh btw, that napkin ring can be DIY-d!
Maybe it's the wine in the photo that makes this setting looks romantic to me. It actually makes me think of my Hollywood crush - Keanu Reeves!
Pang Manors Hotel or Discovery Suites o!
**Photos credit to the owners I love the "sosy hotel" feel!
I love love love it!
Seriously, they're all so nice, I wanna do them all!!!
How about you guys? I'm sure you got plenty of ideas and can't wait to start on your projects na no? Buti nalang you still have plenty of days to go shopping for decors and/or to DIY before Christmas! Go na and get decorating! Get everyone in the family to help too so it will be more fun and not stressful. It's a good family bonding pa, o diba!
Happy decorating!
