Jeff and I celebrated our 37th Anniversary last week!Boy, those numbers are getting big!And I'm grateful for every single one!
We have lived a lot of life in our 37 years married38 years together!
We were engaged within three monthsand got married on the year anniversary of the day we met.
I still remember the night we met.That afternoon I had literally decided the boyfriend situation for me was pretty direandthat I really should just resign myself to being friends with men.
So when Jeff asked me out that night we metI decided what the heckI might as start making friends.
Three days later on our picnicI remember thinkingThere was my life before Jeffrey Scott Beardsleyand my life after Jeffrey Scott Beardsley came into it.
38 years later here we are.
Sometimes when you knowyou know.
This year for our anniversary Jeff wanted to go back to where we had our first date.
It was In Laguna Beach at Pepper Tree Laneat a restaurant that actually had a tree growing through the roof!
We still remember crossing this streetand it was the first place we ever held handson our way to drinks at The Hotel Laguna
Hotel Lagunais still our favorite to this day.
We had lunch at our spot with the coloring treewhere my One True Loveadded our initials.
Laguna Beach is a lot like Jeff to meI love it morewith every passing year.
