Catrice Makeup Haul Review

By Ireviewuread

Catrice Cosmetics, a United Kingdom basedbrand cosmetics known to be light on one's pockets, have finally arrive in Singapore. Being an inquisitive Beauty Blogger, I got myself some products to test.

Today's list of products:

Matt Mousse Make Up, 020, Natural Biege
Long Lasting Waterproof Eye Pencil, Pearly Bird, Champagne Rose-Gold
    UltimateLash Multimizer, Ultra Black

Today we are going to start with the cheaper alternative to Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse , Catrice Cosmetics, Matt Mousse Make Up.

The shade that I will be using is one with a yellowish undertone, a Natural Beige.

Aside from the Natural Beige 020, there are two other shades available: Warm Beige 030 and Light Beige 011.

Some of the main factors of Catrice Cosmetics, Matt Mousse Make Up are, being able to keep those pesky pores and lines on your face hidden; Giving one a matte and even finish.

The thing which intrigues me the most about the product is that the fact that it's a mousse product. In short, I would be expecting this product to be spongy and moisturising.

First thoughts: Scentless, Light weighted and Moisturising.

Being a pot of 'sponge', I am rather shock at how the product comes out to look rather powder-like upon the first dab. However, despite saying that, Catrice Cosmetics, Matt Mousse Make Up does not give one a cakey complexion after used. In fact, I felt that this foundation is great at setting my makeup for it does help even out the skin tone and makeup that I've applied.

It does give an even amount of coverage for my flaws. Since Matte is part of it's name, I would definitely say that it lives up to it's name. However, after a few hours, I would be required to touch up for the oil from my T-Zone would have managed to secrete through.

Overall, I would give it 4 IreviewUread Smiles. I like how it is easy to apply, moisturising and help hides one's flaws. The only downside would be having my T-Zone to secrete more oil because of the blocked pores.

Next item off the haul would be Catrice Cosmetics, Long Lasting Waterproof Eye Pencil in the colour, Pearly Bird, Champagne/Rose-Gold. Despite having it to be named as eye pencil, this is actually a waterproof auto-eye liner with a built in sharper at the end.

Aside from Pearly Bird, there are 8 other shades with quirky names in the Stay a Little Bit Longer collection:

Tested to be quite waterproof and smudge-proof, I would give this Metallic Rose-Gold Auto-Eye liner 4 IreviewUread smiles for despite being so flawless, being an auto eye liner is definitely of it's disadvantage: Breaking able to break easily.

Last but not least, from Catrice's Multitalent collection, the UltimateLash Multimizer in the colour Ultra Black. This Mascara claims to be able to lengthens and volumise one's lashes without clumping.

I've got to give it to them. It's true that they lengthens one's lashes but at the same time, they clump the lashes too. This in return, caused spider lashes to be form and not voluminised. On top of that, no matter how much I curl my lashes beforehand, my lashes will always end up straight once I apply this mascara.

Unsatisfied with my short and straight lashes, I've deemed Catrice's UltimateLash Multimizer to be only worth 1/2 an IreviewUread Smile. For it's only edge was that it lengthens one's lashes.
