I love the full skirt and pretty pleats on this Forever21 dress for a whimsical touch. The gold metallic threading also adds a subtle shine that I can't get enough of. To cinch my waist, I “borrowed” (with no plans of returning) my mom’s Badgley Mischka belt. It’s a gorgeous investment with its 1920s art-deco coolness.
My Guess shoes (similar) reflect the season as well. They’re a bright, memorable color but also a closet classic shape. I know I’ll be breaking them out well after the last drop of champagne and the holiday festivities are over.

Huge thanks to my daddy for taking these pictures! A former director of commercials, he’s now a full-time painter. I’ve always admired my dad’s creativity. I remember as a little kid, dashing up the stairs to his studio to watch him paint. I loved to tell him silly stories about my school day as he skillfully blended colors on the canvas.
