Bryant and Some Colts Game Analysis.

I really think that if Bryant stays healthy he can make our offense do much better.
Having that kind of speed creates match up problems and forces teams to put a safety over the top.
Lets just hope AB,Bell and our new weapon MB stay healthy cause we need them all.
The game is a game of inches several points:
1. We miss a easy TD fleaflicker that is just out of reach of AB during the TB game which would have changed outcome I'm sure.
2. Then our punter hits a bad kick and allows TB of all teams to throw a 40+ yard pass deep into our territory.
we easily could have won that game and if so then we'd be 6-2.
3. against texans that pass is 2 inches higher and Diesel man doesn't tip and intercept it. Thsu leading to more points.
4. Against texans ben puts the ball perfectly and I mean perfectly into the only spot he could on the TD pass ( I thnk it was 3rd down). to MB. If anyone saw the all 22 tape. Ben thru the ball when MB was at the 20 yard line and did a big arching pass to allow MB to run under it. Barely allowing MB to get his feet in bounds. IT was a thing of beauty and both Ben and MB should be complemented on probably the # of times they have run that play in practice. Way to go fellas.
5. Against colts several plays come to mind that were in a window of inches.
working backwards
a. the 4th and goal play the one steeler OL gets a push on the DE/LB rushing and just barely allows Ben to have time to loop in the short TD pass.
b. Nice pass by ben in the only place he could put it in corner of the end zone and an amazing catch by AB 1 handed and with left hand mind you (even thoough his dominant one -) )
c. on the TD pass to Wheaton Ben correctly did a 1/2 pump shoulder move which forced safety to shivel his hips toward middle of field and allowed once again the small window for the pass entry.
Makes me wonder if we should keep Mike Adams (dare i Say it) inn at RT because we have dummervill coming up this week. Whatever the OL did this pastweek do it again pls.
other game points:
1. Reggy wayne did not play that is huge for underneath routes doubt we get the pick six if RW is there although in the SB in 09 he made same mistake the rookie colts WR did.
2. We were graced with the colts DB being hurt -- and he was their best one and one of the leagues best too.
3. Lack of pass rush by colts and it seemed like their linebackers were not that fast.
and once again we have a hurt DB (jimmy smith) against ravens thank goodness.
