Hello!! Hope your week has been great! Sorry I haven’t been posting much. The next few weeks, will remain at one post per week until the start of May. I have an exam in 3 weeks time and I’m basically trying to cram many months worth of studying into a matter of weeks. I find that I get distracted much easier around this time and my mind is all over the place.
Today I wanted to talk about the new Body Shop Moisture White Shiso Skincare BB Cream. Out of all the western BB creams I’ve tried, this one has got the closest resemblance to an Asian BB cream. The coverage and texture feels very much similar.
Delivering superior skincare benefits, Moisture White™ shiso bb serum inside instantly brightens, corrects, protects and cares for your complexion, making it the multi-tasking must-have for busy, time-pressed mornings. With a wonderfully lightweight, smooth texture, our sensational serum-infused bb Cream is a joy to apply. suitable for all skin types, its radiant beige shade was specially developed to suit most skin tones. the good level of coverage provides a natural finish.
The applicator is a pump bottle which is great. It’s hygienic and the pump dispenses just enough product so there is no product wastage.
What I like about this BB cream?
- It feels light weight on my face.
- As I mentioned above, the pump applicator is fantastic.
- Contains SPF – Sometimes I forget to use sunscreen so if my makeup has some sort of protection, it’s better than nothing.
- Coverage wise is pretty good, I would say about a medium. If you are expecting full coverage then this isn’t for you.
- The scent is just right, not too strong.
Overall, this is a good BB cream. I believe this only comes in one shade, beige. I would recommend this but best to try out in store to ensure it matches to your skin tone before purchasing it. This is available at selected Body Shop stores from February 2013. The BB cream doesn’t seem to be on their website yet but it’s priced at $48.95.
Will you be trying out the Body Shop BB Cream?
